2016–2021 Civic radio replacement: is it worth it?
On the 10th-gen Civic, higher trims came with a Display Audio touchscreen that already supports wired CarPlay, while base trims have a simpler radio without it. A radio replacement makes the most sense if you want a bigger screen, wireless CarPlay / Android Auto, or you have the base radio. On amp-equipped trims (Si / Touring / Type R), audio needed the right CANbus setting in my install—see the verdict and parts below.
