0:05R1s beautiful interior the one thing I don't like about this interior though is the wireless charging pad you can see

0:12There's no grip. It doesn't it kind of slides around with the Rivian wireless charger

0:17There's gonna a little I'll be the virus so it kind of holds the phone a little bit better

0:20And it's gonna charge way faster now to install it

0:25Very you see this little rubber little grommet thing right here. You just pull it right out

1:04You have any issues now the QR code use your camera to watch it. It's very easy for the

1:10Instructions to pull up. This is the Rivian charger by honcho. They do come up with some accessories here, too

1:17We really didn't need to use any of these prying tools. I use my fingers, but like look at it

1:22You see that plug? It's that same plug that we just got rid of

1:26but let me check out any accessories because

1:38Nope, we don't need to use it

1:40So we'll just use a existing cable. This might be for the R1 t or something like that to have the right adapter

1:46But it looks, looks like it has the right harness here, so we're just gonna plug it in

1:53We got some accent lighting so now we do everything reverse. There's these little tabs right here

2:00And we're just gonna push it in

2:03Line-up those tabs. Oh

2:13So right off the bat right now, let me tell you right off the bat

2:17I can tell this is not gonna slide as much because

2:27So this this material right here very slick it's rubber, but it's very slippery this one

2:33Look at it. It's gonna hold the phone way better. And as you can see here, there's a little divider

2:39Which is gonna hold it you can better

2:44Just any of phone. All right, so we have an iPhone

2:49Boom now this is the XL model charges it as you're expected

2:53It's gonna charge way faster and look at this

2:58That now granted this does have a phone case but it encloes it perfectly

3:02You're not gonna have that much. There's no slippage because of that lip

3:06It's like made for iPhones, which is nice

3:08So if you have an iPhone XL the plus models, this is gonna be great for it

3:12with it too

3:14But even with any kind of movement, it's still charging

3:19Which is great. So even if I'm way up like that, it's still good to

3:23Now another feature that this has over the other

3:27The stock one is you have now these aren't buttons, or anything. Sorry, there's some

3:33dirt, but USB-C type it type C type C type a so you have three more charging ports and

3:42Gear icon what this gear icon does is check out this sick ambient lighting now

3:47This is actually very tasteful to me because there's little dots. So it gives it a nice diffuse even

3:54Distribution in lines because it's not it's like it's it's very well-diffuse. Look at that

3:58You don't really it's not annoying or cheap-looking now

4:02The Rivian has ambient lighting down here too. So this is just gonna match the interior lighting to whatever you set it to I

4:10Think that white looked the classiest of them. There is a it goes through like an RGB red blue green

4:15It kind of just fades in and out and then you can have it kind of like to strobing or you can tape or you can have it a little dance party like a rainbow

4:27It's just cool to have options. I like this. I like this this very sleek white look so
