Overview
John calls LED interior and reverse bulbs one of the first, easiest mods you should do. On the Civic Type R, the stock warm interior bulbs look dull next to the crisp white headlights. He compares the OEM bulbs to LasFit LEDs side by side — same dimensions, much brighter — then swaps the front map lights, the rear map-light assembly (the whole trim piece pops off with a flat tool; you don't pull only the black trim), and the reverse bulbs. While he's in the hatch he also does the trunk light. The reverse LEDs light up the camera view so you can actually see at night, and the cabin finally matches the headlights. Extra reverse light makes the backup camera usable at night. Small mod, big difference.
Wiring notes
- No wiring. Plug-and-play bulb sockets only — test reverse and map lights before buttoning the trim up.
