Wireless light-up door sill plates for the Cybertruck. Each one has its own rechargeable battery and a sensor that lights it up when the door opens, with rainbow, cascading and steady color modes. There's no wiring, so the install is simple. This 7 min guide covers the Tesla Cybertruck door sills (Amazon link in the video description) with tools, parts.
Overview
These sill plates are more for show than protection, since the stainless steel doesn't need much protecting, but John thinks they look incredible. Each plate has a sensor, so when it detects the door is open it lights up automatically and shuts off after a while or when the door closes. They don't draw power from the truck. Each unit has its own rechargeable lithium-ion battery that charges over micro-USB: the light shows red while charging and turns off when it's full. Use a SIM-card pin to press the small button and cycle through the modes: rainbow waterfall (slow and fast), steady red, green, blue, purple, teal, yellow and white, and cascading red, blue and pink. In the description John says he likes that passengers can see when they open the door at night, and there are enough modes to fit any style.

0:18These are door sill protectors for the silver truck, and they look awesome.
0:27obviously not protecting the doors. They're more for show, more than go. Nothing's
0:32really protecting the stainless steel, but these look look incredible. It's gonna
0:44Like so these have little sensors on them, let's see if I could get them turn,. There we go
0:54So when the door opens up and it detects that it's open they automatically light up and these aren't powered by your car
1:02It's powered by a rechargeable lithium ion batteries

1:11There's full sensors on each of these door cell protectors.
1:15These are a little white sensors and then when you plug it in, I'll turn red and then when
1:19it turnss turns off, that means fully charged.

2:37So what's cool about these is usually they get powered by your
2:41Car power and then looks like this one's not in using double adhesive. This is magnetic
2:47I hope so because that would make installation of breeze and retargeting the breeze
2:51So let's go ahead and grab these bring them outside
2:56And see how easy it is to install them, you know, these are sick

3:33It's a bit off since I've had this door open for a few minutes, but if the we go ahead and open up the driver's side door again
3:39This is the
3:41RGB waterfall and then
3:47I can go on the other side and show you the other colors I'm messing with
4:00I like this color too. This is a like a pink color
4:04So these are just magnetic
4:06you could see
4:08They're not held on very firmly
4:12But you can feel where it kind of attaches with the magnets
4:18And then just to see if we could see if it actually turns off only close it
4:23Let's see if we could do a sneak peek right here
4:28Still on still on
