EVBASE Real Carbon Armrest & Rear Vent Covers: Tesla Cybertruck Install

0:15Yo, what's up eevee base hooked it up with some more carbon fiber today. We got their center console

0:23Matt carbon fiber two-piece set you do have to buy these separately as

0:30They come they come in two different pieces one for the

0:33Center console for the rear AC vent and

0:37And

0:39What the stock one is and this is only for the premium models of the Cy Burtrack

0:44So if you don't have the screen back here, this won't be compatible with you

0:49So what we're gonna do today is this is a really simple install all you do is you apply the carbon fiber

0:56pieces protection pieces over your existing

1:00This is like a vinyl surface

1:02This isn't too bad it does absorb a lot of oil some block

1:06It's a kind of a pain to clean and any extra protection

1:11It's gonna I think match the

1:17EV bases Cybertruck carbon fiber steering wheel

1:22Covers pretty well as you can see here. I still got those on

1:26It's pretty good, I don't really use my steering wheel too much

1:30So it's just a nice decorative piece for me

1:33So what we're gonna do first is we're gonna go ahead and install the rear AC vent piece

1:42Super light and it has some adhesive behind it. We'll see if we even need it

1:52Most likely we're gonna use it

1:54They do apply

1:56they do include some adhesive promoter and then so if we do use the pieces the

2:03Double-sided tape we're gonna go ahead and use that adhesion promoter and you can see here. It's just a beautiful piece

2:11Just no imperfections here. Let me see if I can get you get it. It's a little bit overcast

2:17You can just see the weave. It's just gorgeous. I decided to go with the matte carbon fiber as

2:22It meets a little bit more of the aesthetic

2:26inside of my Cybertruck as I already have the

2:32Steering wheel and matte carbon fiber and a lot of it's just

2:39Just matte in here. There's not a lot of shiny plastic piano gloss black finishes as you see in other OEMs

2:43So let's go ahead and get started on applying the rear piece

2:50With the rear piece here, we're gonna go ahead and move these seats forward

2:55So we just have a little bit more room to work with. So I've got EV bases

3:07Diamond quilted leather seat covers love them

3:10Just went to Newport Beach yesterday

3:13easy wipe down

3:16much easier wipe down than the

3:21stock Cybertruck seats

3:23Those are kind of a pain

3:25No matter how much you wipe them down or cleaner you spray you still see a lot of that some block

3:31You kind of see it like right here

3:33This is right after I just wiped it down. I

3:37Clean up this car for this video and you could see this is the same material

3:42that's on your

3:45Cover

4:13All the oils and the some block

4:16moisturizer

4:18So we'll do a test fit here. You're gonna see with this piece there's gonna be a rolled lip a rolled edge on

4:36the back piece as

4:39It's gonna cover a lot of the edges better

4:43I think the narrow piece is gonna be yep

4:46The narrow lip where it's not rolled. It's gonna be up here

4:51So that will probably make it so

4:53your center console could go ahead and

4:56Open and close a lot easier. So running a test fit

5:01Snaps right into place. I was gonna use the adhesive. Well, there's some play here

5:18So without using the adhesive

5:28That's if you really squeeze down on the

5:32Carbon fiber. I don't think I'm gonna use it

5:39Just because it was such a snug fit. I can't believe it just snapped into place like a Lego and

5:46You'd kind of see the rolled edges right here. It's just really clean seamless look, andus look

5:51And we're gonna go ahead and try to apply it to the front center console so it matches a little bit better

6:02Gorgeous work of art. I don't know if I'm even gonna want to

6:06Put anything, anything on here, but we'll see we'll do a test fit

6:13Like the rear ac event cover you're gonna see a rolled edge

6:18That's going to be now on the front and you're going to see a thinner edge on the back

8:26Center, console cover it's gonna be offering a bunch of protection. This is the easiest install ever

8:32It's I I mean Simon install you just put it over

8:36The existing parts. There's no removal of anything

8:40The carbon fiber weave is gorgeous

8:44You could use the adhesion promoter if you want or you don't have to I decided not to do it

8:49I thought I I was gonna do it just because I thought the fitment was going to be better with

8:54It it but I don't think the fitment is gonna change at all

8:57With or without it in that way if for some reason I need to remove these then it's not gonna be a

9:29If you get the gloss it's gonna pop a little. A little bit more, but I decided to go with the mat

9:38The Edge work here is gorgeous. I'm gonna get as close as possible. You can kind of see it

9:47This looks almost factory

9:53Effect any of the seat movements. You could move them back and forth up and down up and right

9:59Doesn't move the covers at all

10:03Gorgeous and it's gonna offer protection with your existing stuff and it'd be easier to clean so win win.
