Every mod on John's Integra Type S after two years: carbon aero, Milltek exhaust, tuned engine bay, Jogon carbon interior, Acuity shifter, Carismo wheel, and his top 5. This 16 min guide covers the Parts shown are on the Acura Integra Type S DE5 with tools, parts links and the full video.
Overview
Two years in, John walks through every modification on his Integra Type S. The theme is carbon fiber, like a competition carbon package: APR and EOS aero, OEM carbon mirror caps, Jogon window-seal covers and a carbon roof antenna, a Milltek exhaust, and an engine bay full of carbon pieces with the Infinity Designs intake and Hondata. Inside, Jogon matte dry-carbon trim replaces the factory plastic, plus an Acuity shifter, a Carismo flat-bottom wheel, a hidden FITCAMX dash cam and the rear A/C vents he added for his kids. He closes with his top mods: lowering on H&R springs with wheels, the E85/E30 tune (about 420 hp, roughly 100 over stock, per John) and the rear vents. John's mod list is linked in the description.

Step by step
- 1
Carbon aero▶ 0:58
APR side skirts and an EOS front lip; the rear and the spoiler are left stock. John points to his separate videos for an in-depth look at each part.
- 2
Dealer black DRLs▶ 2:11
The dealer-upgraded front DRLs in black light up at night. They're dim enough that John likes the OEM-style look.
- 3
OEM carbon mirror caps▶ 2:37
Factory carbon mirror caps. EOS and Jogon also sell full replacements if you want to go further.
- 4
Jogon window-seal covers▶ 2:54
Carbon covers for the window seals. It's a surprising wear area because people close the door there, and the carbon looks stronger than the gloss trim.
- 5
Roof, antenna and plate frame▶ 3:30
A Jogon carbon roof antenna on a black vinyl-wrapped roof (done by a local Northern California wrapper), and an EVBASE carbon plate frame carried over from his Tesla.
- 6
Milltek exhaust▶ 3:57
The "meat and potatoes" of the rear. John has a separate sound comparison video, and he likes to polish the tips.
- 7
Engine bay▶ 4:28
Dampers, APR carbon, the Infinity Designs carbon intake, an EOS engine cover, Hondata and the Infinity Designs turbo inlet. The intake is louder than stock, but his old PRL intake was much louder; John says Infinity has better gains and looks better.
- 8
Interior carbon and window mesh▶ 6:28
Jogon matte dry-carbon door garnishes, plus mesh window covers over the ceramic tint for a bit more privacy and a small theft deterrent.
- 9
Cup holders and rear vents▶ 7:02
Jogon carbon cup holders, and John's favorite: the rear A/C vents with two USB ports, which he uses for dim red ambient lighting for his kids.
- 10
Door sills▶ 7:43
Dry matte-carbon door sills wrap around the rear openings, with illuminated sills up front.
- 11
Dash and console trim▶ 8:08
A long matte-carbon dash piece and Jogon console pieces replace the cheaper factory plastic, and everything still opens and closes fine. A suede center console piece breaks up the carbon.
- 12
Acuity shift knob and shifter▶ 9:19
The Acuity full replacement shifter removes the side-to-side slop. John says it feels like a bolt-action rifle.
- 13
Carismo steering wheel▶ 10:07
A flat-bottom wheel (also offered heated). He chose gloss carbon on the top because it's a high-touch area that would polish a matte finish.
- 14
Hondata, radar and dash cam▶ 10:40
Hondata shows the E85 content and performance on the CarPlay screen. There's also a Uniden radar detector and a FITCAMX dash cam that's so well integrated he forgets it's there.
- 15
John's top mods▶ 12:14
Lowering on H&R springs with wheels is his favorite and the one most people will be happy with. Performance-wise, the E85 / E30 tune puts it at about 420 hp (about 100 over stock, per John), though he says stock performance is already really good. The rear A/C vents for his kids round out the list.

0:00Hey everyone, it's your boy John.
0:28We are back again here with another video..
0:30This is my two year modification list on my Integra Type S.
0:35So if you're looking for modifications, I'll go through mine and this
0:58EOS side skirts from APR and then the rear I left naked.
1:04The spoiler as well.
1:09So if you want something a little bit more aggressive and in carbon fiber. one's are
1:16very aggressive as well and then we have the EOS front lip.
1:29. Now if you want to have a more in depth video of any of these products, check it
1:59out.
2:11I have the dealer upgraded front DRLs in black and it also lights up at night.
2:20I thought I wouldn't like the lighting up at night, but it's so dimly lit that it doesn't
2:26bother me and I don't think it looks too crazy.
2:29I'm a fan of that OEM kind of lighting, keeping it kind of aggressive, but not too crazy. which
2:37we have also the OEM carbon fiber mirror caps.
2:42I think they look great.
2:43It actually shows some of that color.
2:45There's also other products from you know EOS and Jogon that sells like a full replacement
2:51if you're interested.
2:54Next off I have these little window seal covers in carbon.
3:00These are from Jogon.
3:01These are actually one of the newer products.
3:03I've actually really like it because the gloss ones.
3:07So a lot of people close their door right here.
3:09So surprisingly it's a wear and tear area and these carbon fiber ones make it just look
3:16a little bit stronger and it looks really good.
3:20Speaking of carbon fiber, I remember the theme is a lot of carbon fiber on this car.
3:24It was the exterior, I was thinking it to be like a competition carbon fiber package.
3:30We have a carbon fiber Jogon roof antenna with a black vinyl roof.
3:35I had this roof wrapped by Arctic work.
3:40He's a really good guy.
3:41Check him out.
3:43He's local if you're local to North California.
3:46And then the rear, I have the carbon fiber frame.
3:51That one's from EVBASE.
3:54I had it for my Tesla so I put it on this one here too.
3:57And for the rear we have the most, the meat and potatoes is going to be this Milltek exhaust.
4:04I have a sound comparison in my video and you can see some metal polish because I like
4:10to polish the tips a lot but I didn't know there was some on the bumper.
4:14So give that a nice wipe later and that goes it for the exterior, it's looking good.
4:28Under the hood is one of my favorite parts.
4:31So this is definitely more if you're like a car guy and you're just into engine bay
4:36kind of look.
4:37I have the dampers right there.
4:40These are also on my YouTube channel if you want to check it out.
4:42Carbon fiber, carbon fiber APR, carbon fiber Infinity Designs intake EOS engine cover and
4:53I put a little infinity logo right there and we got the Hondata.
4:59We have the Infinity Designs turbo inlet.
5:03Yeah, this bay is looking good.
5:09I really like it.
5:10Now the intake is, it sounds louder than stock so you like those turbo noises but I also
5:17had a PRL intake that sounded way louder.
5:22So if you wanted like a loud sound turbo noises the PRL is a great one to H-V-I.
5:27The design has better gains and does look better.
5:42So you kind of, you pick and choose your battles but this engine bay looks like
5:50money and you can kind of see the EOS carbon fiber replacement right there.
5:56For the rear, nothing too fancy.
6:02Just have the Integra type S tray and yeah.
6:09So let's go into the interior of the car.
6:12Let me go to one of my favorites.
6:16Let's just open it for some lights.
6:19So I have kids.
6:21So this is my kid car too.
6:26Let's just get a little zoomed down.
6:28We have the Jogon's matte carbon, well it is dry carbon door piece right here, the little
6:34garnish and then we also have the little covers right here.
6:39These are the Integra type- thes mesh.
6:41So my windows are tinted but I noticed ceramic tinted but I wanted it to be covered a little
6:46bit more.
6:47So a little bit more protection and I guess this kind of helps with theft too.
6:53They can't see the car as well and if they break the window and they got this little mesh
6:56piece, it's a little small deterrent, it's not going to, if they wanted it, they wanted.
7:02Also we have the Jogon carbon fiber cup holders and my favorite kind of modification
7:11right here is the rear AC vents, has two USBs, these two USBs I plugged in just to have
7:20some light.
7:21I have some ambient lighting for my kids in the back.
7:26It can be RGB so I just have it as like a dim red, so yeah.
7:31As far as that you can kind of see right there, nothing too fancy here, some stuff animals.
7:43Check out the door sails here, see how it just kind of wraps around, nice.
7:51Same with the front we have the door sails, dry carbon, matte carbon.
7:56Door sails protects, and then we have illuminated door sails right here.
8:00Really like this interior piece so let me just kind of show you the interior, just kind of like
8:04from this view, a little pan.
8:08A big piece right here is this carbon fiber, I know it's a lot of carbon, might not
8:18be for everybody, but the matte carbon looks way better than the cheaper plastic you
8:23have that comes from the factory, just this nice long piece.
8:27Also from Jogon we have the center console that's kind of wrapped, I mean the goal is
8:35to kind of replace cheap plastic with a nicer carbon fiber look to it.
8:43Alright, so we also have this garnish right here also in carbon fiber, all these
8:49like interior pieces are from Jogon, they look really nice and you can see it opens
8:55and closes perfectly fine.
8:59All the way to this piece right here, this piece, this piece and then we have overland
9:07design suede, you can also get this in carbon but I think that was too much, I like to
9:12break it up a little bit, yeah Overline Designs, center console looks great.
9:19We have the Acuity shift knob, it is really red, but I think in person it looks more
9:25like, let me more realistic to how it looks like in real life, there you go.
9:32We have a little inlayer right here, we have the lockout, it's really easy to pull this
9:37thing down now, let me pull it up, it locks in like that.
9:42And then we have the Acuity shifter itself, so it's a full replacement shifter, it goes
9:47all the way down and feels really good, it's like, there's no more like that slop you, you get
9:58from side to side anymore because I mean it's a fuller, so it feels like a bolt action
10:04rifle, it's really nice.
10:07Now we also have the Carismo steering wheel, flat bottom, you can also get this
10:12this as well heated as well, I opted for the gloss carbon fiber right here just
10:18because I feel like this area is a high touch point, where if it was matte I didn't want
10:23it to polish the matte finish, so that's why this part right here is in gloss, just
10:31for wear and tear, it'll look more nice over right here, if I kept touching it it'll
10:38turn glossy.
10:40So that was the reason for that, I also have the Hondata because this car is tuned
10:45and what's cool with the Hondata too is if you have it on the car play, it actually,
10:50it actually shows my E85 content and performance on the screen itself, which is really nice.
10:56I have a radar detector by Uniden and then I have a FITCAMX dashed camera right here,
11:06you don't even see it, it looks so well integrated, I forget I have it sometimes,
11:11so that's the point right, kinda out, out of sight out of mind, then in here I have a little
11:17cubby tray, just to separate it, organize it a little bit better, that's my Integra
11:24Type S or I got red floor mats for my buddy who has a Type R, they fit, so if you guys
11:34were planning to get that, you can, he wasn't using it so he was like here you can just
11:39have it, shout out to him and he's in one of my older videos too, but yeah, so far, you
11:46can kinda see the mesh right here, I think that's pretty cool, if you're looking for
11:58sound bites and how the exhaust sounds or how the intake sounds, I have videos on that,
12:07but yeah, this has been a really good car and it's a really fun daily family oriented
12:14car, no problems with it, if I was going to do top 5 mods, my top 5 mods the mods would be lowering
12:22the car on H&R Springs, that really changes the stance of the car, lowering it in wheels
12:29is probably my favorite personally, those are, I guess that's like the mods for everybody
12:37performance wise, I have E85 or E30 mix tuned by Farible, Farible is a really good guy, but
12:51the intake sounds, and I've really done a lot with this car, but yeah, keeping it basic
12:58with just suspension and lowering, is lowering it in wheels will, I think a lot of people will
13:04happy with the looks of that, as far as performance, the stock performance is already really good,
13:09but don't think you guys need to do that, but if you want that extra spice, this car
13:15is probably making about 420 horsepower, up about 100 horsepower from stock, so it
13:21is making the beans, but I really enjoy the stock performance, it's just a matter of the
13:28rear AC vents for my kids, as where is that sounds, that's one of my, I guess on the
13:34list of my favorite things about the car, is a rear AC vent, I don't know if you can
13:41even see that, yeah,, wow, but yeah thank you guys for watching, hopefully this video
13:50gave you some ideas on what you can do with the car, and I'm perfectly happy with it, I
13:56only have 7000 miles miles, so I don't drive it nearly enough, because I have multiple cars,
14:02but yeah, thank you guys for watching, I'll catch you guys in the next one, peace.
