Extreme Online Store Carbon Front Lip Splitter: Integra Type S Install

0:20What's up guys, it's your boy John. We are back again here with another video. Today we're going

0:25to be working on the Integra Type-S and we're going to be installing a front lip by Extreme Online

0:31Store. This is their new carbon fiber front lip right here. It does come with three pieces so

0:38the shipping is, I guess, easier for packaging and if something happens, if you craft one

0:45you could potentially just replace a piece or something like that. So it is the same

0:49it does with mounting hardware and this design is like a splitter. You can see how it cuts through

0:58carbon fiber. Beautiful. Without increasing too much of the ride height. So let me

1:05just kind of show that right now so you can see right here it would be kind of like this

1:15and you can kind of see it does make the car a little bit lower but not that much. It doesn't

1:21overhang that low and you'll be able to kind of have that smoother more aggressive look.

1:30Now the one thing I didn't like about the stock body is you can

1:35kind of see the nose and you can kind of see the chin right there and I feel

1:40like the nose is so prominent that it looks more masculine if the car had some kind of chin

1:49like a beard or something like that. I know that's a little bit weird but it feels it feels like it

1:55needs some kind of thing on the bottom. I mean, all Rekus cars have it. All Supercars have it

2:00pretty much that more aggressive lower end kind of get that look. If you guys know what I'm

2:06talking about, you know what I'm talking about. So I feel like a front lip is actually really

2:10needed in this car. It's just missing something. The rear is perfect in my opinion.

2:19It has a integrated diffuser. Beautiful. Looks great. The front it's missing that oomph.

2:26So having a front lip from EOS it's kind of really clean it up so and it installs

2:33me pretty easy. It's just going to be some 3M tape that they do provide.

2:39We'll just double-sided tape to show you there's a hardware bag.

2:43And it just has some alcohol tail wipes to make it as tacky as possible.

2:52And you don't have to remove the front bumper so that's always nice.

2:56But yeah, let me just install it real quick and I can probably even just install it

3:01without even lifting the car because I have a 90 degree kind of a press.

3:41So this is just 3M double-sided tape. I haven't screwed it on. Looks pretty good.

3:52And here it is all done. Now I want to take it outside so you can actually really see it.

3:57Can't really see it too well in the garage so let me pull it out.

4:30Here it is. The front lip from the side. See how well it flows. Side profile shot.

4:41Do say it does look stunning. Really fills in all the spots that I wanted to fill.

4:55It's not as aggressive as other front lips on the market. There is no winglet.

5:01So if you don't like the little winglet. If you don't know what a winglet is

5:05it's where the, let's see if you can even see my finger. Where you see this area

5:13there's usually a little swoop that goes up. Kind of like that part right there.

5:18Little swoop. Some people prefer without it. This one does not have it.

5:24so it's a good look. It's just a cleaner, simpler design going for more that splitter look.

5:37But it does have that details where it's not just a piece of flat, you know

5:43some cars just have a flat piece of plastic. This one does have some angles but keeping it minimal.

5:50As you can see it does play off the lines of the front bumper and no longer the

5:56nose right there is protruding as far as the bottom which gives it that kind of

6:02double chin look. If you know what I'm talking about now because it's just not like this.

6:09I don't know if you can even see

6:14see what I just did but you got that kind of the part that sticks out the furthest is actually

6:17the chin now so it doesn't look like it's so derp and the front lip just kind of complements it.

6:27It's not offensive. It's nothing crazy. You can kind of see the side skirt right there

6:36and how it just kind of goes straight through. The side skirt is uh this one is the APR one but

6:45that one is a little bit more aggressive and more offensive. Some people might not like it

6:48because it's too aggressive but what EOS has done here has kept it pretty basic.

6:54It kept it clean. So yeah, good stuff.
